Raj has a deep and comprehensive experience in Global Business Activities, being a pioneer in the Mauritius International Financial Centre since its inception in the 1990s. He has been in parallel administrators, directly involved in the management and administration, team leading, structuring, directors and Chairman of many Global Companies including funds and trusts, and other financial companies for the past 20 years.

Yuvraj is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). He is also a member of the British Institute of Management and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACiArb). He is a member of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants (MIPA).

Over the last 30 years, Yuvraj has held many Board Membership positions in local, regional and international companies. He is presently an Independent Non-Executive Director and the Chairman of Audit Committee of Standard Chartered Bank Mauritius.

Yuvraj is the Managing Director of Quantuma Mauritius and Thacoor Advisory Services Ltd following his retirement from Grant Thornton where he served as Managing Partner from October 1999 to July 2016. Prior to that, he was an audit partner at PwC Mauritius. In his last two years at Grant Thornton, Yuvraj served as Regional Head – Member Firm Development Team for Grant Thornton International in Africa.

Raj also acts as a regular consultant for many parties (including the regulatory authorities) in the field of the Mauritius Offshore Sector.
