Luvy Thacoor was elected executive member of the International Fiscal Association Mauritius Branch’s committee in 2021. He is a qualified ICAEW Chartered Accountant and a registered Insolvency Practitioner in Mauritius and is currently an Associate Director with Quantuma Mauritius, a business advisory firm headquartered in London. Luvy is a member of the Mauritius Institute of Public Accountants as well as the Mauritius Institute of Directors.

Luvy has 8+ years’ experience in the financial and professional services roles across Mauritius and the United Kingdom. He has qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant with Deloitte in London, having been exposed to the Audit department with Technology, Media and Telecoms clients, as well as their Risk Management and Practice Protection department. Luvy then began his specialization in Insolvency and Restructuring services with Quantuma and has since focused on such assignments, spreading across various sectors and jurisdictions. He is actively involved in the liquidation, administration and receivership of various offshore structures set up in Mauritius under the Global Business Licences, such as investment funds, protected cell companies, global business companies and authorized companies as well as local companies spanning different industries.”
